So long, November: it's been real...

I can't even believe how long November felt, how much happened, how much distance I traveled since the very first day. And now it's December, what the heck.
Everything's the same. Everything has changed.

I'm a little bit word-ed out, so I hope you'll forgive me that I'm not producing an entire, coherent post today. But I did want to say:
Hurray, I did it!
I wrote 50,000 words in 29 days!
We are a way for the universe to know itself. Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can, because the cosmos is also within us. We're made of star stuff.
- Carl Sagan, Cosmos
This notion that we are made of star stuff sure makes me happy. I love this idea that we are all walking remnants of the Big Bang, our carbon the same carbon, little ambulatory bits of the Universe that we are.
It’s very useful as a way to think about ourselves and each other, to feel wonder in the presence of another.
We’re all just stars, man.
OK, not all of us. Some of us are Black Holes.
Monday, Monday, can't trust that day.
But yesterday's Monday turned out OK. Mostly because I received two messages, reinforcements, right on time.
First, a mermaid.
